The reason the companies can offer these deals is because they know that 95% of the people will never complete the requirements in order to redeem the prize. Therefore, they get the information of lots of people, many signing up for their offers and seldom have to give out the prizes.
If you decide to participate in one of these offers, make certain that you keep records on the offers you complete and anyone that signs up under you. While the offers are for the most part legitimate, it takes a bit of work, and sometimes money in order to get that fabulous large screen T.V. sitting in your Living room.
